When my dad turned 70 his doctor was reviewing his blood test and remarked how his cholesterol was levels were great and asked what he did to keep them low. He said just one bowl of butter pecan ice cream every night before bed. One thing for sure those genetics have been great. My FIL rode a bike 100 miles per week and was on a restrictive diet and he was skinny. His cholesterol would go to over 300 without medications. My doctor likes my cholesterol at 70.
