The 550 Spyder is a death trap. They look cool but are about as advanced as a blown hemi in a model T...
We had a 550 replica show up to a PCA DE I was running a few years ago. None of the instructors would instruct in it with the lap belts and the flexy banjo steering wheel and 4 wheel drum brakes. I drew the short straw and though it was fast, it was absolutely terrifying to drive, let alone instruct in fro the passenger seat.
