No SCFM for me. There was a time I used a badger brush and soap to lather up. But once I started shaving in the shower the brush got all funky and the soap turned to mush, so I just started rubbing the bar on my face.
My man indulgence is I get an old fashioned strait razor shave once or twice a month. I get up early grab a nice coffee head to this old fashioned 1950's barber shop. Recline in the vintage barber chair, feet up, hot towel, facial and temple massage with Noxema, another hot towel, cocoa butter base hot lather, shave, moist cool towel clean up, astringent finish. For about thirty minutes every two weeks the pressures of life go away.
