That said, at some point, why not just buy an enclosed trailer? That surely couldn't have been inexpensive to have custom made like that. How long does it take to put it on or take it off? I assume one advantage is that you can convert back and forth between open and closed, or is it more of a "permanent" conversion to this tented style?

Thanks. All in on this setup I am under $9000 total including the 2017 model trailer which is well optioned. Shopping for similar length enclosed trailers setup as a car hauler I was seeing pricing at $15,000-22,000. Plus this is much lighter in weight and has a better wind profile. Not saying that this is equivalent to an enclosed trailer but for me and what I use it for its a great solution.
