When I have the patience I blow dry the razor w/my hair dryer...seems to give me a few more shaves before it dulls. I have a lumberjack's beard.

When I shave everyday I use my Norelco shaver...gets as close as razor...if I wait too many days the Norelco will struggle.

I also buy my razors at Costco.
