Wow! I'm in awe at all of the great advice and responses so far. Thanks very much for the items to double check I'll also do a cross post on the 944 forums to see if anyone is near our route. Regarding getting off I-40 for a bit, sounds like a good plan.
How is cell phone service on most of I-40 out west? From the coverage maps it looks decent, but I'll also bring along the radios just in case.
