The C2 type blow off valve reacts faster during quick off on full throttle movements while up shifting. It seemed that way when I changed from the big heavy original one to an after market 964 turbo type recirculation valve that uses a 1" aluminum piston and spring.
You can put washers under the spring to shim it if wanted.
