Repairing interior mirror that has fallen off the stalk.
Hello all, have a 1970 911T that has a mirror issue. Not the usual problem with the mirror pad separating from the screen, but the mirror has come off the stalk. Looks like there is a small screw that holds it one the square shaped hole in the bottom of the stalk, but how do you reattach and tighten it up? Does the mirror glass need to be popped out ? Any words of wisdom appreciated.
