Just as an FYI, this book, as great as it is, is best at identifying the difference/evolution of individual parts, starting with the early 356 through the 912 motors. Much of the trouble shooting info is buried in the stories. If you are looking at rebuild information then his "Secrets of the Inner Circle" book is the one to track down.
