I'm not hunting them. I read in Rolling Stone last summer how Kid Rock was killing them at his place down south. They would set up trap cages, then point blank with a 45, sometimes it took more than one round. If they didn't get to the cages quickly the hogs would tear though the steel and escape. |
Depends on how big they get in your area. At the redneck bar I used to frequent on rare occasion (mud bog races every other weekend!) there were guys that would hunt 'em with dogs, a knife, and roll of duct tape. Let their dogs get on 'em, wade in, tape its feet together, cut its throat.
There are also some folk out there that use traditional boar spears.
Me? I'd be in a tree stand with my kit built FAL and a few 20 round mags.
