I've got to disagree wiff you chowderheads about bolt on fender flares (even though I don't like many RWB cars) - one of my all time favorite air cooled Porsches is the GT2 Evo in all its bolt on glory!
As far as cutting up that 89 goes, I applaud the guy for having the nads to do so - these are just cars, after all.
