I like the Oscars. I go to the same friend's party every year, (Oscar nominated director), and hang out w some nice people including always plenty of starlets. The show is playing on a wall in the living room from an HD projector and I just watch the parts I want and walk around the house and grounds the rest of the time. I'm sure there will be plenty of political speeches but they don't bother me because I'm a Hollywood liberal.
