When my BIL and my sister went out for an all day Sat. picnic @ noon with their friends, I took (keys in ignition) his hopped up custom car show winner '41 Ford out for a spin to my g/f's. The flathead was built! Ported, relieved, polished, with 3 Strombergs and a mean dual exhaust. I freaked when I looked at the speedo upon return...so I backed the car up around the neighborhood to the original mileage.
I was 14 yrs. old back in '59...full of piss and vinegar...and desperate to show off.
I got away with it...Whew!
