The valve covers and cam carriers had some pitting on the gasket surface. More than I thought would seal with new gaskets. So I pulled all the studs from the cam carriers. I ordered two 16*48 sanding belts. 220 and 320 grit. I have a piece of granite countertop about 16*35. So I cut open the 220 belt, layed it out on the slab of stone and proceeded to make the valve covers flat. Next up cam carriers.
