Thanks for all of the feedback. I did speak to the location where I had the PPI and they said they would be willing to help out with the transaction. The location is Eurosport in Boise, ID. Anyone ever deal with them? They seem pretty reputable and between them and the seller, who I've been in frequent contact with, I don't sense any sort of foul play. Believe me, I am completely aware of the risk, which is why I wanted ask others what they would or have done in a situation like this. If someone would be willing to look at the car that would be great but I did already have the PPI. I know the car exists and haven't had any reason to think this is any sort of scam, but of course I want to protect myself in every way possible. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. It's been really helpful.
