I have about 1 week experience on them and can tell you it is much easier than riding dirt and the difference between novice and expert is about an hour. Surely you have buddies with regular sleds.

On a side note, I hope to get out Cle Elum again this summer. Would love to say hello and hoist a brew.

Recent ride near Whistler with buddies from WA state. Guy on the right grew up in Cashmere.

Hey, the guy on the left is wearing my winter jacket.

Short answer on the snow bike? I'm too old and have too many toys now. As of a week ago, I have the newest, fastest sled, 165 HP, 460 lbs....Snow bike is about 1/3 the HP.

Also, fall over a lot as they sit tall and putting foot down in soft snow with no base....I'm too old and my body is too broken up for that. I belong to the largest snowmobile club in the state, others don't seem to want to ride with snowbikes...Looks fun I agree.

Come ride anytime; I always have a spare machine....
