This would be the way to go. There is a Mac version of QuickBooks but it doesn't talk to the Windows version. Your CPA isn't likely to have it so can't easily review your work. I haven't seen Mac QB in a while but historically it's been significantly different than Windows to the point that it's like using a different program and it lacked all the functions of the Windows version.
Downside to online QuickBooks is you pay a monthly fee forever.
