Hi Everyone. I suppose- like many of you- I've lusted over 911's since I was a teenager. I bought this "rolling (not under its own power) chassis" 911 about 10 years ago and it's been sitting in my garage ever since. Its a '76 that I purchased in Canada, however the car is from Texas. It hasn't been on the road since its Texas days and I suppose because of that it's virtually rust free.
I've been busy with life- and still am, however I've started to get the project going (in my absence) as you will see in the pics. I've done a few restorations in my teenage days however none recently. I'm the first to admit my somewhat limited knowledge about the 911 so please excuse me if I ask some "dumb" questions. I'll try to use the search and do my own research as much as possible.
I really don't know where this project is going, however I obviously don't care much about keeping the car stock, and I don't mind "utility" and function. I'm just looking to come out the other end with a "daily driver" that I can punish out on the twisty roads and grab the groceries on the way home. I don't really care about "pretty stuff" and I like a used "bad boy" look to the car. Rock chips and dents are fine with me. Anyway, here are some pics. The car was complete with interior, a 2.7, etc but these pics were taken while I was stripping it.
