Awesome project!

You filled the sunroof, now bring it home with the rest of the 'right' mods :-D So a big yes on the manual windows, and ditch those heavy power mirrors. Lots of really cool and lightweight mirror solutions. Fill the passenger mirror holes and put an early talbot on the drivers side.

What is your engine budget? Because when you ask "What engine should I put in?" I would say a 3.2SS with EFI/ITB setup. Or even crazier with a 3.6 if you have deep pockets.

If your budget is <10k you might be able to find a nice 3.0 CIS running donor. You could also sell the 2.7 core to help cover that.

I would install front and rear after market sway bars. Someone may have already done that on your rear banana arms, hence the ground off sway mounts? Not sure. Tarret?

What about KW coilovers?

What about dropped spindles? bump steer kits? how low you going?

I would paint engine bay and underside body color.

AC is personal. IMHO they are heavy and usually don't work. Aftermarket systems haven't really caught on too well. Some entertaining threads on that. I think the market is too narrow for a leader to emerge. People love to argue about Oil and AC on this forum lol.

The flares look amazing btw. Great job (at least in finding the right welder and kudos to his skills)

Oh - and spend extra time and money fitting the Horn grills.
