I guess mainly it's because Ive been reading excellence since 1997 and have every issue from issue number 1 (known at the time as porsche magazine).

If you pick up a issue of excellence from 1995 to 2005 you'll find the magazine is simply well.. excellent both in content and writing. It's not easy to write a automotive article and capture both the mind and the heart but those years those articles excellence did just that.

I'll always subscribe to excellence but I feel lately that it is not what it used to be. Which was the finest written single mark magazine in the world. It easily was up until 5 or so years ago. Maybe it will be again.
