I'm getting more frustrated with Panorama these days.
Every article appears to be more hyped up cheerleading than actual content. Yes, I know it's a club magazine, but is it necessary to cheer for every change?
- PDK is the best ...ever! If you whine about not having a manual transmission it's just because you are an old man. But, if Porsche does, unexpectedly, build a car with a manual transmission (GT3) then it's only because it's made for professional drivers who are the only ones capable of mastering such a devilish contraption!
- The Macan is the best Porsche ever made. It's a better sports car than any 911/Cayman/Boxster could ever be. If you don't agree, you just can't handle change and probably still have a flip phone and watch cable tv.
- Hybrids and electric cars are the only viable option for the future! Why would you want a fossil fuel powered car? The sound of an electric motor is exotic! If you don't agree you hate the planet and probably kill whales in your spare time.
-Owners of those old air cooled cars are quaint anachronisms whom we must tolerate. While their inefficient toxic spewing death machines are on the road, we must act as if we like them since we need their money to pay for our club. However, we secretly think those old cars should have been turned in with the cash for clunkers program.
