Dunno, on one hand if I had kids I would want all the protective gear.

I obviously meant BMX not BMW... but you guys know what I meant.. of course back then it was just a Schwinn with knobies and all the fenders/chain guard removed.
We used to love to ride down a steep hill... use a driveway as a ramp to launch ourselfs into the neighbors ivy... one time when I hit the driveway I got my foot stuck in the spokes of the front tire and I went head over heals into the ivy... no injury.
