Full rebuild or just top end?
Are your p/c's out of spec?
Best upgrade on a 2.2L is a 2.4 crank and rods.
Keep the 2.2E pistons.
If they are junk, get cylinders bored to 85mm and get new ~9:1 cr pistons.
Or at least thats what I would do!
