Best upgrade on a 2.2L is a 2.4 crank and rods.
Keep the 2.2E pistons.
If they are junk, get cylinders bored to 85mm and get new ~9:1 cr pistons.

Am replacing pistons and cylinders as they are shot. I don't want to replace the crank as it's good . Thought about going to 2.4 but would like to keep it 2.2.
