That stuff once cured sets up pretty tough. I would try a good exacto knife with plenty of extra blades, spray the area with soapy water( to provide lubrication for the blade as you draw through). Start with small section first going even with the edge of the glass. Hopefully once separated the excess will peel away from the paint with-out lifting everything else with it.
