Adding to Bill's info. The cheapest route is a combination of H&R springs and Bilstein B6 shocks&struts. That's a very typical setup and will give you a ~1-2" drop from the US ride height. Recognize that the spring collars on most front aftermarket spring/strut setups can be adjusted so low that you have no compression travel. Heights between RS and RoW generally allow reasonable suspension travel. Be smart.

The stock 964 wheel studs are 45mm, measured from under the head to the end of the threads. For aluminum lug nuts, the minimum is 21mm of thread engagement. If you use steel lug nuts, then the minimum is 14mm. By my measurements, these are the safe stud/spacers combos for our alloy nuts.
45mm stud, 0-1mm spacer
52mm stud (mine measure 50.5mm), 0-7mm spacer
66mm stud, 14-22mm spacer

Good luck!
