Ficke you nail it and me. Part of it is taste too. I grew up worshipping the 930 look and ib era cars. It wasn't until a dozen years ago, when I was at Carquip, that I fell in love with long nose cars. And my first 911 became a longnose and I've had a string of them since. But there has always been a piece of me that thinks a 934 or Iroc or Sc-RS looks more muscular. My dream longnose is an ST. So now I've got this oddball hot rod that I look at as an SC-ST, if you will.

These days the 6 figure cars I drool over are factory racecars. All the air cooled RS variants and Cup cars. If I had $175k to buy with I'd buy some 993 or even 996 variant that might not even be street legal.
