This^^^. My wife has a automatic Lexus and I have a Cayenne Turbo for such pedestrian excursions. A great stereo and heated seats make it no worse than watching TV in the family room (unless you need a bathroom)...and my wife is trapped and cannot escape my mindless prattle (so not entirely less than enjoyable to me). Plus I can easily tow my 911 behind on my Trailex if I wish. Of course the Cayenne is great for my trip to the dump each week as well...and is still faster than most mustangs I encounter...even towing the 911 (sorry...had to get in the Mustang shot, it is a Porsche forum)

I had a '65 Mustang with a stick shift when I was a kid (I could only afford one car). I have adult toys now that are appropriate for purpose. Might as well have kept your 911 if you were getting a stick shift.
