Did you use the standard VDO oil temp sensor? If so, what are your coolant sensor settings? I measured ohms across a wide range, and used 2490 as the bias resistor value but I get weird results. Temp pegs at -21 or 80 C with just minor changes to the various temp point values. I tried the pre-set "SAAB BOSCH" values and get the same results.
I am using a stock VDO 200 deg sensor mounted in the breather cover, leaving the stock sensor in the pressure line to signal the dash temp gauge. I have used this sensor and in this sensor location before on this exact motor with Adaptronic ECU so I know it works but its a settings or calibration issue I am having within Megasquirt. Unfortunately Adaptronic uses the coolant temp settings in ADC not in ohms so I cant copy/paste from the Adaptronic tables into the Megasquirt tables.
If you are using a stock temp sensor could you pls post your bias resistor value and the three temp/resistance points?
THanks!

John you are a couple of steps ahead of me so can't really help here. I was actually thinking of usin the hole in the chain over - previously used for the thermo switch - however when putting pressure fed tensioners this option was deleted. As for cooling sensor I'm using the one from tbitz set for now but am open for good ideas to improve this setup. Right now I'm Trying to setup the rear fuse/relay panel. What's the best way to get a switched and a non-switched 12v ? Both defogger and heater is N/A or deleted so I guess the 3-fuse panel is somewhat usable here. what is best practice here - think I might make it right the first time. :-)
