One thing the author may not mention is the metric wiring pins can be remove with a metric pin tool. He wants you to cut the wires and install an imperial or inch sized connector -- NOT!

I did respond to the thread and gave the brand name and part number for the tool.
you know after you say that, i'm surprised he didn't dent the door
i wasn't there but i'm not quite sure how he did it considering that they do fold back
