Yes, that's the best way. Forget HD, they wouldn't have it. Get it to Fergunson and talk to the guys behind the counter. They should be able to able to get you the correct part. The Volume control is worn. Getting that part out is going to be a challenge sometimes due to age and some of the plastic parts.
