Well, there is no status - STILL - in owning a 25 Years Of Porsche Silver Anniversary 1975 911 S - no one cares (trust me, me included) - so I doubt anyone really cares (except the buyer) on a 2004 40-year Anniversary 911. I just like the color which is Silver. And mine isn't even silver right now - it's cheesy '80s red.
The paint and dash plaque really never added to the value of my car, it probably took away because no one really likes the tweed interior.
To me I would rather have a sound running car as the Anniversary on anything is just bling that means nothing and has no function (kind of anti-Porsche in a way).
