As an owner of a very original '72 and a previous '73 T targa I can say without a doubt there are too many variables to be able to give you an accurate valuation. Sport seats are being reproduced as are the gas tanks so original parts or repro changes values greatly.
You need to have someone look it over who is very knowledgeable about the early cars. It could be worth more than 50 or less than 40. +1 on techweenie.
