First megasquirt car I did a decade ago I used Bosch sensors from VW for IAT and water temp. Now I only use the GM so no fiddling with settings/physical configurations for sensor calibration. Bungs are easy to come by and then you don't have any guess work. If a sensor fails you can get one in Anytown, USA for $8 that same day.
