I just got done fighting one that was ran out of fuel. and had all the injectors replaced . I have done a handful of these, but this one took me all day to get bleed, and fuel up to the filter, and into the rail .
Do you have any sort of a vacum pump ? The short of the story, is that I pulled the inlet and outlet hoses off the fuel filter housing. I first pulled vacum till I got fuel from the feed line, then I reconnected it. Then , I again pulled fuel , by vacum, from the outlet of the fuel filter housing. I was then able to use the hand pump to pressurize, and bleed the last little bit of air from the system. I used the bleeder on the filter housing first, then the big valve near the ac compressor. It looks like a huge r 134 ac fitting. I would depress on the valve core while pumping the plunger, and it finally burped out all the air. It started instantly after this .
I pumped that flippin' hand pump at least 3000 times trying to get it to pump up before I finally tried this . This one was run out of gas, but I had also replaced the injectors at the same time, so I had air everywhere.
Don't run em empty!!!!
