Neighbor across the street converted a full third of their front yard into garden with wood chips. They told me it was because they wanted to spend less time on their yard. They spent way more time than if they had just mowed the grass. They moved and we have new neighbors. Haven't met them yet. Wonder if they are going to change it. I hope so, it's not nearly as attractive as you think it would be.

Want to irrigate my yard. Problem is would like to re-landscape it first. The dirt in my back yard has migrated downhill to where it is now a foot higher than the bottom of the stockade fence across the back of my property. Have had 3 different landscaping companies out to put something together to re-landscape, put in some beds, irrigate, and sod. They seemed real excited about the project then never heard back. Now there are 4 trees on the back property line that have been butchered so much by the power line maintenance they need to be taken out as well.
