^Very nice! Whats that old red lugged aluminum bike in the lower pic, left side? Is that a Vitus or perhaps Alan?

Also, quite a hoot to see the blue Schwinn Racer 'Delux' 3 speed. I'll have to post a picture later but last year I found a freebie '66 complete with paperboy front basket. Same size frame as your blue one. Complete but needed a full overhaul and lots of love.
Anyways, I decided not to spend time or money into it, stripped it down and boxed for future most of the parts. Mildly cold set the frame and forged fork to fit wider modern sealed bearing hubs and a bonus the frame accepted 700 x 28c without any issue. Went fixed gear and retained only the front brake. To compromise in my physic to fit the smaller frame, I found a taller post and longer stem to fit the odd Schwinn tube diameters. Weight not exactly light but acceptable now at 26 lbs. lol
The entire concept of a junked heavy steel Schwinn with steel parts has proved its worth. Even with the single piece Ashtabula crank. Its shorter and for a fixed gear in cornering has its merit.
Its been a blast riding thru the Winter season, road salt, gravel paths and with no concerns of leaving it outside or theft.
