Maybe she is smiling in the photo because she is innocent. If so, she is likely contemplating the huge legal settlement she will receive.

According to Dallas-Fort Worth's KXAS, Fowlkes' attorney Jason Nassour said she was smiling because she knows she is innocent.

"You've got a young lady who was arrested on the statement of a 17-year-old kid with no corroborating evidence," Nassour told the station. "This isn't a guilty person sitting there like they just got caught. When everything's fleshed out it won't be as it appears."
