Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

I like the plain galvalume look but you can also get colors. But the regular galvalume would reflect heat the best. You can also get different styles of sheeting...like standing seam. The ones used in the photos are just called ribbed.


That is a cool look Baz, would love to have a metal roof. Especially if we could trap what rain we get and divert it to a storage tank for yard use. However, our 12/12 pitch and three story roof access (back side of home)would be challenging to say the least.. the perils of living on a hill
