Your pool cue analogy equally applies to musicians. You can give me the best guitar in the world and I couldn't come close to Joe Bonamassa playing rubber bands strung over a cardboard box.
Just watched the vid again. The guy filming was easily staying on his tail without taking the risks of the HD guy.
