Alfas can be great, reliable cars.....if you follow the maintenance schedule closely. I assume that it is fuel injected and if so, be sure to change the fuel filters on a regular basis. Also, if you ever need to put a clutch in it, you don't have to pull the console, just reach around the tranny and unfasten the 6mm bolt that holds the shifter in place. Then you can just lift the shifter off the shaft it mounts on and finish pulling the gearbox from underneath. Also, keep an eye on the belts that restrict the movement of the rear axle. If they get worn or broken, replace them asap. With the possible exception of the head gasket, the engines can be pretty bulletproof. Nice car, enjoy!
