So you are making this judgement on two videos that you have dug up to support your theory.
So watching these snippets, we don't know if Cindy was retaliating for some injustice that warranted the can opener move and lets face it the slash on the gloves thing happen every shift of every game. Should it? Shouldn't we be encouraging these "stars" to look after themselves? I am quite positive that you would scorn Cindy out if one of his teammates had to take care of business for him.
The players do not necessarily use the best gloves to protect them but the most comfortable and those that allow the best mobility. A few years back it was slash to the wrist when short gloves became all the rage.
I would say that the can opener should be reviewed as a deliberate attempt to injure. Perhaps they could reach back and look at the tape available for all of BM's indiscretions? Bad Brad has gotten away with far more than any other active player in the NHL. Key word, active....
