To be fair he bumped a thread from 10 years ago when 911s where reasonable. Now it makes (I guess some) more sense to build a kit. I don't mind kit cars, but I'm not a fan of replicas. The fit and finish is key though. If you take your time and do them right they can be very cool. I tend to like the 'back of hotrod magazine' kits like the Coyote Cody, or the mantra montage.
