It gets even closer to the ground as the front wheel rolls onto the street... Any lower and I'd then have to crawl over neighborhood speed bumps at 2 MPH. Plus, I often have people in the car and would hate to ask them to get out so I can clear my driveway. Not everyone understands our obsessions.
So you bring up a good point about aesthetics... as my suspension is definitely "stanced" for hauling arse on fast back country roads in my area. Any lower (like some of my buddies) and you end up bouncing around, having less confidence in the car and going slower.
Plus, even a light front bumper tap can end up giving a 964 that dreaded front bumper frown =;((.
Plus, who wants bump steer....
