I would like to install a factory port in a 3.6 transplant. Engine is a M64/01. It is in an 81' SC. Can i just open the harness before the Motronic connector, and splice it in? The factory plug has 10 wires:
Green/grey
orange/green
white/black
yellow/grey
black/purple
orange
red
brown
orange/white
orange/blue
I have a copy of a wiring diagram, but it's very difficult to see. Looks like the white/black is an airbag circuit. Im thinking I can disregard this one. Possibly some others. Thank you in advance for any help here.
