Well as far as value goes on the S2000, there is a big problem.
The thing is the S2000's are bullet proof, having one with crazy low miles is not going to get you as much value. If you had a low mileage original 911 it can add to the value of these cars easily.
I really like the S2000, it looks like it would be a blast to drive and this thread got me looking at slightly older sports cars, cars around 10 years old. If I was in the market for a S2000 I would not care about the mileage one bit as long as it was under 100k. The premium for the mileage is just not worth it too me, Honda's in general just don't break. Heck this even true with their PWC.
After the S2000 I also read reviews about Z4 M cars and how they were also great little cars, but they cost a lot more than the S2000 and having owned a 335I that was out of warranty I think I will pass. Z4 has better looks than the honda but when the red light gremlins come on, I would be kicking myself for not getting a honda.
