I know this is an emotional issue for all sides. People keep saying the Yahoo article is biased against guns and the guy who protected himself. I don’t' read it that way. It lists the 911 call that shows the guy was scared. What is anti-gun about it? I don't think calling it a 'make my day law' is somehow anti-gun. I don’t' get why people are upset about it?
Personally I don’t' own a gun. I've got nothing against guns and occasionally go to the range or out with a guy who lives on 10 acres to destroy paper baddies of tin cans. It's fun once in a while. But if I ever felt I was in a place that required gun ownership for protection I'd move out of that town/city/county/state/country as needed. That said from what the various article say, I have no issue with the 23 year old having shot the bad buys. I just feel really really bad for him that even though fully justified he’s going to have to live with the fact he killed three people, for that I feel very very sorry for him. I’d hate to be in his situation, even if for the totally right reasons. I am delighted that the woman in the getaway car is being charged with three counts of murder. That’s real justice.
