A fellow was being sent to that region on a business trip and his colleague, who was raised there, suggested that he try Scrod at one of the finer restaurants.
On the way from the airport to his hotel, the fellow tapped the taxi driver on the shoulder, asking, "Do you know where a fella can get Scrod around here?"
The driver said, "You know, I've heard the question a thousand times before, but never in the pluperfect subjunctive."
