If I wanted to spend more money I could set my home alarm up so punch the Homelink button to close garage door then it arms the alarm once the door is shut. And punch homelink button to open the garage door it disarms the alarm, then opens the garage door. Said could have a homelink or door opener remote button that operates just the door, and another that does the alarm/door.

Said it would take their garage door interface box that operates via bluetooth and another that lets the car's Homelink talk to their bluetooth door interface box.
