Quick update:
Went and got the '68 and I learned that the '65 is actually a '66 based off of the VIN.

Well last week, I was able to go and get one of the two cars and bring it to my buddy's shop. Original plans were to pull up the trailer, put the first one on, bring it to my friend's shop, then go back for the second one. But as we all know, nothing ever seems to go according to plan. I get there and non of the stuff had been moved out of place, so we had to move a bunch of stuff and then try to maneuver the 912 around the Civic on jackstands with a motor unbolted but still in the engine bay on a hoist, then back onto the driveway without hitting the Civic or the house. All the while using nothing but two come-alongs, a rolling jack and two wheel dollies. Wasn't easy, but got it done. But will need to go back for the '66. But that one should be much easier to retrieve. Here's some pics from the day.
